ART GALLERY 🖼️ Koru Art 🌿

Kia ora!
In 5th grade we learnt about Māori people, which are the indigenous people of New Zealand. The koru is often used in Māori art as a symbol of creation. It represents an unfurling fern.

We used a pencil to draw a spiral and radial lines. Then, we added different pattern, shapes and even a word! Afterwards, we used a black marker to trace the lines, erased the pencil and coloured the design.
